Cookie policy

Privacy policy ↗

Your choices

Accept and Reject have equal prominence. Customize lets you choose statistics, initially off. Closing the initial panel saves rejection; closing a reopened panel preserves saved choices. Scrolling or continuing to browse does not count as consent.

Duration and withdrawal

Your choice lasts six calendar months on the same browser and hostname, across all languages. It is not shared between domains or devices. Change or withdraw it in any page’s footer. Clearing browser data prevents recognition of a previous choice. Material changes require a new choice. Analytics remains off if saving fails.

Necessary operations

The open31_privacy_v2 cookie records choice, action, date, expiry and policy version. It is host-only, with Path=/, SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS. The localStorage copy with the same name synchronises tabs and cannot enable services independently. Both are valid for six calendar months; the copy is invalid after the recorded expiry. Neither contains form data.

Google Analytics 4

We use the existing G-NTX2D02E9S property. Its tag loads only after statistics consent on the production site. It measures page views, sources, approximate location, devices, scrolls and outbound clicks. Website code always denies advertising purposes and disables Google Signals and advertising personalisation. Form messages are not intentionally sent. Development and Netlify previews do not collect statistics.

Measurement cookies

_ga and _ga_NTX2D02E9S, provided by Google Analytics, distinguish visits and sessions. This site sets a lifetime of 180 days without automatic renewal. Cookie lifetime differs from property retention: events for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with identifier retention reset by new activity. Aggregated reports follow separate rules.

When you withdraw

Rejection or withdrawal disables collection on this browser, removes the tag and deletes Analytics cookies accessible to the site. Withdrawal cannot undo data already transmitted or erase storage on other providers’ domains. Google consent signals reflect the choice; the tag is not loaded to send cookieless pings without consent.

Forms and external links

Netlify handles submitted forms and uses Akismet for spam filtering; these necessary operations do not depend on statistics consent. There is no Google reCAPTCHA. Fonts, images and interface code are local. GitHub, npm and LinkedIn are ordinary links, not embedded widgets.

Browser controls

Inspect or delete cookies and storage in browser settings. Blocking all first-party cookies prevents saving choices and keeps Analytics off. The privacy policy explains the controller, recipients, transfers, retention and rights.
